Springhill Care Home took part in Care Home Open Day last week with a range of activities to interact with the local community – helping people discover what life is like at Springhill.
Residents and guests were invited to a special launch of the new Community Café at Springhill which hopes to bring in family members and members of the community to share experiences with residents at the home.
Selling a range of cakes, teas and coffees – the Springhill Community Café saw everyone sharing a cup of tea and discussing what life is really like inside the home.
Everyone had a lovely day and we have exciting activities planned for the new café over the next few months.
