Our residents had a great time when Springhill Care Home was visited by Matthew the animal ranger and his friends.
The visit from Zoolab, a local organisation which offers animal handling experiences, saw Springhill visited by a snake, rats, millipede, cockroaches, a pregnant scorpion and a naughty frog.
Matthew was great with the animals, helping our residents and team enjoy the experience – even if a few of us ended up watching from behind windows when the rats emerged – talking about them all in detail.
We had a great time holding the animals and learning all about them – thanks to Zoolab for the visit.
