Last week, Springhill Care Home in Accrington held its very own ‘Great Ribble Bake Off’ in the home’s Ribble View lifestyle kitchen.
The residents set to work baking an array of goodies from chocolate chip cupcakes to Smarties cookies and flapjacks.
After all the hard work, staff and residents sat down with a nice cup of tea to judge their delicious creations.
All cakes, cookies and flapjacks were placed anonymously in the middle of the table and once everyone had tasted each, a vote was taken.
The result was unanimous, well done to Shannon and Anne for their delicious, winning Smarties cookies!
