Springhill Care Home in Accrington is urging people to get involved in a charity coffee morning later this month.
The home is taking part in this year’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event will take place on Friday, September 29 in Springhill’s Oakhill Lounge from 10am - 12 noon. A cake sale and a 'cake off' competition will also take place to raise funds for this great cause, so get your whisks and baking bowels at the ready and sign up now as there's a fabulous prize up for grabs.
Anyone interested should visit the reception to put their name down and make a donation – there are also plenty of cake recipes available too for those who fancy taking part in the cake competition – or contact the home on 01254 381719.
