Residents at Springhill Care Home in Accrington got up close and personal with birds of prey recently after a visit by local organisation Gary’s Feathered Friends.
The activity saw a number of owls brought to the home by the Wigan-based company for residents and staff to hold and get to know face-to-face.
Residents loved the experience, including Annie and Mary, who were delighted to spend time with Kizzy the African Wood Owl.
