Springhill Care Home’s Oakhill Café held an event recently which included a reminiscence table, dominos and pamper station.
There was something for everyone, and residents who attended all said it was great fun and relaxed at the same time.
Those who spent time at the reminiscence table were talking with our students and staff about their favourite holidays in the past, visiting places such as Blackpool, Fleetwood and France, and all the way to Australia and South Africa.
Decorations included old pictures of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, which helped to trigger these wonderful memories.
