Staff at Springhill Care Home in Accrington took part in a charity event to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
The event featured silent football and netball games – the MNDA’s motto is Silence Speaks, relating to one of the side-effects of the disease.
Staff also took part in a silent flash dance – when music was played around the care home, staff danced.
The day was a great success, with everyone commenting on how well it went and how much fun it was. So far, £120 has been raised.
